Our Blog Setup and Trip Departure

Hello everyone! Meghan and I are starting this blog in order to keep everyone involved in and aware of the happenings of our life in Texas (this upcoming year), and for the next three years with the US Airforce. By sharing thoughts, events, and stories we hope to keep you involved in our lives.

Some of you reading this definitely know all about blogs, their purpose, and their format. But I know there are others who are less familiar. Put simply, we post words and pictures daily or weekly - depending on how busy we are. You can read and look at anything that we've posted. You can also email us by clicking on the icon after each entry that says comment.

Since this is our first posting, we wanted to include a picture or two from the honeymoon and the wedding. Our photographer has not yet finished editing and posting our pictures. Here are a few for now.

We are leaving for San Antonio on Wednesday at 4am figuring we should practice getting up at that time since our officer training will demand that for the month of July! So, we'll drive out to route 81 from Alexandria, then south toward route 59. We're hoping to make our first and only stop in Meridian, Missisippi. That would make it a 14 hour drive. Then we'll drive the remaining 11 hours on Thursday. Wish us luck!
