Baby Corso's Internet Debut!!!
Check out these in utero pics that we got today at the hospital. The OB clinic says we have a perfectly healthy baby. Ahem, Meghan... that is ONE PERFECTLY HEALTHY BABY CORSO! I am attaching two pictures with colored lines detailing the little bugger -- or booger, depending on what you like to call these lil' ones at this age. You can see the arm buds, head, face (surface), umbilical cord, placenta, and leg buds. Of course, it's all hard to see on these still pictures, but I'll tell you, this little boy/girl was squirming this afternoon and we could see all 4 appendages moving! SO CUTE! And yes, we're already wrapped around the fingers that this little embryo hasn't yet grown! Red=amnionic sac, Blue=left arm, Yellow=head, Light Purple=placenta, Dark Purple = umbilical cord , Green = face
Meghan's cousin, Alec (4 years old) when told that we saw our baby today said this:
"God help us if it's a boy!" When his mom, Cheryl asked why, he said, "Because we're hard." Then he said, "I know, we can name the baby Duncan!" When Cheryl asked why, he said, "Because I like Dunkin Donuts." There you have it folks! Wisdom truly comes from the youngest among us.
