First Day at Work

Today was our first day at work. It was crazy! We have this checklist of personnel members to visit (at their offices). Each one has to initial that we saw them. Most offices fill out some paperwork for us. They call it "In-processing." I think it's really an experiment to torture us. I mean, we were like rats running around a maze throughout the hospital!

Actually, it was funny. We have a great group of fellow residents. We enjoyed the adventure of getting lost on the basement level of the hospital, misleading one another, and waiting on line together for the various personnel.

These next 2 weeks are an orientation period so things should be rather mellow.

Aside from work, we've had quite a bout with bugs around here! Since our house is brand new, the insects that were displaced while it was being built are trying to reclaim their lands! We've found several ants, spiders, and other creepy crawlees around. So our exterminator is on the way over. Meghan is really on edge about it - she searches the bed before getting in it each night. It's really funny to see her squirm just for 2 seconds, before joining her in the reconnaisance(sp?) mission to rid our house of bugs.

We are hosting a bar-b-q this weekend with the other residents (and their families) at our house. I will try to take some pictures and post them.
