First Days of Work
Hey everyone! Kent and I have completed the inprocessing at Lackland AFB or at least we hope. Kent has started his mini rotation in primary care consultation while I have begun my major rotation in Clinical Health Psychology at the hospital. I managed to get an office with a window. I cannot wait to decorate (I know what a doors). I have never had an office of my own.
The other residents are great. We elected a Chief resident and Kent and I self elected ourselves the social officers of the group. Not a bad job huh? I have got so many things on the list of to dos for the group including vineyard hopping, white water rafting, water parks, Sea World, Ghost Hunts and more :-) I hope everyone is ready for me.
Okay now lets discuss the spider situation.... Friday morning Kent and I were leaving for work when the "encounter occurred." He opened the door when I spotted the monster. I quickly slammed the door and screamed. Kent insisted on opening the door again. AT which point the DAMN monster ran in the house after us. Kent had to stomp on him while I continued to scream bloody murder. He was the size of a silver dollar with hairy legs. I quickly researched this spider as I feared it was the Brown Recluse. Not to worry it was not! I don't know how I will live a year with these monsters lurking outside.
I guess that is it for now. I hope all is well with everyone. I just wanted to remind everyone there is an open invitation to come visit! We hope some of you will come see us out here in TX.
