Texas Weather

It is REALLY hot here, as anyone can imagine. Although we are in drought season, there were a few sprinkles tonight. Between those sprinkles, there was tons of thunder and heat lightning. I really haven't seen lightning like this - except in Olean, NY when I was about 9 years old. ANyway, here a a few amateur pics taken from our back window in an upstairs guest bedroom.

BTW, our orientation (last week and this week) is going very well. We have become very skilled at sleeping with our eyes open through some helpful, and some not so helpful briefings. Next Monday we start our first rotations. We'll post an update once those rotations have been approved by the head of our program. We're both very eager to start seeing patients in the hospital.
