Winter has come and winter has gone

As to be expected we are beginning to experience the Spring. I realize that for many of you in the Northeast that you are busy trying to dig out of the snow while we start the beach season. You are welcome to visit at anytime and defrost :-) We took Clancy to the beach today as it was 80 degrees. Kent braved the water and swears that it is just like the Atlantic in May. Clancy and I were a bit smarter. Clancy loved running around and playing fetch. She did okay resisting the urge to run after every person that passed. She gave in several times. Here are some pictures.

Baby Furniture

The baby furniture has arrived. It came a bit earlier than we had planned but that is what happens when you get the floor display :-) The only thing missing besides Stella is a rocking chair which we have yet to order but will go in the corner near the window. Here are some pictures per request...

The crib converts into a day bed for a toddler and than a full size bed with a headboard and foot board. We love the furniture and know that this sturdy furniture will be used for many many years! Thank you Grandparents Clancy and Grandparents Dietrich and Wilson. We can't wait for you to see it in person in a few months.

Disappearing Belly Button

Over the last week or so I have begun to lose my belly button. Here are some much anticipated belly shots. It may appear to look like a beer gut from the front but the side shot confirms there is a baby in there. Not to mention she is a very active little girl. Kent can feel her kick now.

It's a Girl!!

So it has been confirmed by two different doctors. One in San Diego when I had to go to the ER for a UTI. Thankfully they took me up at Labor & Delivery and let us see the baby instead of waiting in the ER. And then an Ultrasound specialist locally. She is looking really good.

As you can see she is waving to her mom and dad. You can also see her big belly developing. She was yawning and squirming about. This is probably the last picture we will have of her before we meet her face to face in 4 months.

Official Landmark in Pregnancy

I realized today that I have lost sight of my toes. That is right I can no longer view my feet unless I bend forward or backward to get around my growing belly. Pictures to come. Also I am officially half way through the pregnancy - 5 months and counting.
