Update

We have spent the last week unpacking and setting up the house. It is a challenge to find a new place for all our stuff. Kent started work over a week ago and is very excited about his new position. Stella began daycare last week - we decided that she would benefit from playing with her peers and having a more structured day than being in a house that is still being unpacked. We are all very excited that she was able to get into daycare on the base near Kent's work. It is all coming together. We have visitors starting to roll in on the weekends AND welcome anyone that is willing to make the drive to see us.

Home Sweet Home

It is so good to be in our new house! Stella is like a wild child. Between the new house and Dean she just doesn't know where to funnel her endless energy.

Dean Patrick has Arrived

Dean Patrick Corso was born 29 June at 6:51pm - 8lbs 6oz and 19 inches He was bigger than I expected. That is correct Stella and Dean share the same birthday! Stella is quite excited about having a baby in the house. I think she gets it. She wants to be very involved and with him every second so setting limits will be our challenge over the coming weeks.

As you all know we will be making our way up the east coast next weekend to our new home in the DC area. Say a prayer that all goes well. I am a bit nervous about traveling with a two week old and two year old for 15 hours in a car. As Kent says slow and steady wins the race so we will take our time.
