Tap Shoes

Stella was given tap shoes as a hand-me-down from our friend Shanda. She LOVES them. And since we just finished watching Happy Feet (compliments of papasan) she is all about tapping! Except she stops when we turn on the video camera...

Ms Personality

Stella is so flirty these days. She is all about saying "hi daddy" from across the room and waiting for my smile and wve in return. It's really funny to see her like this. Here is also a picture of her bowling for the first time at her friend's birthday party and riding the bicycle that grandma gave her.

A Few Random Pics

For Sale

Our house has been on the market for 1 month now. It has had a total of over 600 views! It could be from a perseverative Rain-Man type character or a theiving pervert who is voyeristically casing our house, but still -- it's exciting. Here is the link. The virtual tour just got posted. If any of you are interested in a house, we'd gladly sell it. It'd make a great retirement home, but we can't afford two houses.

Potty Training Tales

I thought you all back home might want an update. She is not so interested anymore... probably because her parents became interested. It has quickly turned into a control struggle when Meghan and I started to verbally prompt her routinely. So we stopped prompting and talking about it alltogether. About 2-3 times weekly she says "potty." We bring her in, take off her diaper and then walk out. She is doing it periodically. We are just glad she understands it. There is no rush - she's only 18 months.

Happy New Year!

A new Italian resaurant just opened in our town. It is very exciting when such things happen in a small town. It has excellent food and service. We decided to spend out New Years Eve dinner there. Here is a pic of us ringing in the new year... at 6pm. We barely made it past 10pm that night. :-(

Christmas in Orlando

We travelled down to Orlando for the holiday and the weekend following. We spent Christmas Eve at one of Meghan's first cousin's house, Caroline and Michael. They had several other family members over including Todd, Angie, and their kids who I was glad to finally have met! We also got to see Shannon and Sara for the first time since Stella's birth. They really enjoyed meeting her for the first time too! Then on the 26th the Clancys (minus Sean and Brenda) flew down and we all humg out for a few days. Erin also stayed with us after starting on Christmas Eve. The weather was in the 80s for the entire time. We were also able to get free passes into any Anheiser-Busch theme park because we are active duty. So we all went to Sea World. Stella got to feed the dolphins and overall loved seeing the animals. We have this suspicion she may grow up to work with animals in some way. Here are a few pics from the trip!
