Cuba-bound
It is official. I will be going on a "vacation" to Cuba for 6-months. It should be a fascinating experience!

She is doing some preliminary crawling. It's not quite crawling, though, it's more like the way an inchworm moves: butt up, scoot/lean forward, butt down, repeat. She may just be able to crawl to the Christmas tree to open her gifts this year.
Stella fed herself her bottle for the first time last night but I didn't get it on film until this morning...when she fed herself another one! It's just toward the end that she lets it tilt so that she only gets air. She also tries to roll over onto her stomach and feed. I swear she's going to be a professional scuba diver/treasure hunter when she grows up because she likes to constantly be on her stomach looking at things and doing things.
It's official. Stella's 2 bottom teeth have broken the surface. Now we're attempting to put her in the new Alvin and the Chipmunks movie, as one of the female chipmunks with those 2 little front-and-center choppers!
Stella's first tooth has poked through her gums and is visible. We suspect by Christmas it will be completely in. The one next to it is also about to break through. It should be anyday now that we all get to see her toothy grin!
After one night of sleep training Stella now sleeps the entire night. THE ENTIRE NIGHT!! Thursday she slept 7 hours, Friday 8 hours and last night 10 hours -- all straight through. The caveat is that she is sick so the 10 hours is probably an outlier, statistically speaking. But she is also sitting in her high chair for meals. Despite her huge size for her age it's fair to say she's growing into it.
A recent fun trip to AC before returning to FL at Thanksgiving-time. Don't ask...we lost $60. Bummer... The upside is that we got to party with Craig. It was great getting to know him. Jack Chau (the Chinese host who is a long-time friend of Dr. Clancy's) met up with us shortly and "comped" us an excellent meal at a chinese restaurant.
