Stella' s Latest Trick
Stella started showing off a new trick tonight. Here it is... typically she is more successful at covering her eyes completly and won;t stop until she literally runs into something at which point she begins giggling.

Thankfully Stella and I left our time with Kent to spend time with the Wilson/Dietrich crew on Lake Michigan. It was nice to not go straight home to our empty home without Kent and it was perfect to have family to support us and keep us company. Stella had a blast with her cousin Jack. Stella met her great grandfather Wilson. Stella loved the lake... she would run in and not stop until I had to swoop her up because it was getting deep. She would blop down and sit on her bottom letting the waves crash on her. SHe really had a great time. We also spent some time with the Christophers including Susie and peter's 3y.o. daughter. The three of them were a quite a site with all the dancing.
As many of you know Kent Stella and I had a mini reunion. Kent was sent for a training and we were able to spend the weekend together. We sure did fit a lot into 48 hours. We took Stella to the Minnesota Zoo, Mall of America and for her first hair cut. There are no pictures of her hair cut because she was screaming her head off and it took both of us to hold her down long enough to cut some bangs. She sure does look cute. It was very sad to leave Kent again. I am trying to remind myself that we are more than half way done with this deployment. So lets all hope that these last 2 1/2 months go by quickly. Here are some Daddy and Stella pictures:
