Mommy Stella

I realized that Stella's tendency to throw the baby on its belly, cover it with a blanket and pat its back is exactly what occurs at school during nap time. All the kids lay on their bellies on their mat, the teachers cover them with a blanket and pat their back til they fall asleep. So she is quite the little modeler. Be aware- watch your language and actions around this one, she will copy it. Here is a video of her "taking care" of her baby. She has a tent set up in the living room and she acts like it is her own little house.

It was Only a matter of Time

As you all recall Stella received a Baby Buggy from cousin Finn for her Birthday. I made the prediction that STella would eventually find a way to climb inside. She has succeeeded and couldn't be prouder of herself. Here she is.


















And then there is the eventual falling out of the buggy. Not to worry she just gets mad and does it all over again!

Stella - a mother in training

Stella is always taking time out of her day to practice being a good mother. It is amazing how she models my behavior with her or when I play with the dolls with her. Here she is taking care of her baby. She did this for about 30 minutes straight tonight. Yes that is her baby under the blanket, which she carefully placed over the baby's head :-)

Kent Update

Some of you may be wondering about the Hurricane Ike's impact on Kent. He is doing well despite working 26 hours straight to prepare for the storm which turned out to not be too bad. Hopefully there will be no more storms brewing!

Universal Studios

We went on a wild goose chase in Universal Studios to find Erin at work in our timed 1 hour free. Turns out we were in teh wrong park!! Who knew Unviersal had 2 parks on the same grounds. Needless to say we never found Erin but we got to walk Stella through Suess Land which was pretty cool.

Orlando Part 2

Stella is a little water bug! She convinced PopPop to take a swim in the kiddie pool as well as the big kids pool. What fun!

Orlando Trip - Part 1

Stella and I headed to Orlando for the long weekend. Mom and Dad met us there to visit with Erin. We spent some time with Cousin Caroline, Micheal, Ireland, Grace and Wyatt. Here are some pictures from the visit with cousins
